TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTERS
A temperature transmitter is a device that converts the electrical signal(s) from temperature sensor(s) (like a thermocouple or an RTD i.e., Resistance Temperature Detector) into a standardized 4-20mA or 0-10V output signal that can be comfortably transmitted over long distances without significant loss of signal quality or any such signal degradation. It ensures accurate temperature measurements and is crucial in industrial automation & control systems. This device is used to transmit the readings of thermocouples to the relevant monitor. It typically converts thermocouple signals into electrical signals, making it easier for the readings to be read on the monitor.
