Base Metal Thermocouples

BASE METAL THERMOCOUPLES

Base metal thermocouples are temperature sensors that utilize pairs of different metallic elements to generate a voltage proportional to the temperature being measured. They are widely used in various industrial applications due to their affordability, durability, and versatility. These thermocouples are extensively utilized for measuring temperatures in high-pressure applications as well as in low-pressure environments. These tend to be highly reliable, durable, as well as quite accurate in their readings & measurements. But they need protection from thermal shocks and other such harsh environmental conditions, so these are usually installed with protection tubes/thermowells.
